The David Horowitz Freedom Center has announced the first dozen “Jew-Hatred on Campus” teach-ins, to be held on university campuses throughout the month of April. Teach-ins will be held to raise public awareness about the outbreak of anti-Semitic attacks in the U.S., and to call upon university administrators to remove their support for campus groups perpetrating the violence and harassment.

Throughout the month, campuses across the country will host events including, but not limited to: Brandeis University, University of California Los Angeles, Boston College, Northeastern University, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Pitzer College, Wabash College, University of Texas, Northwestern University, DePaul University, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Virginia, University of Texas San Antonio, University of Incarnate Word, Texas State University, Pasadena Community College and Glendale Community College. Featured speakers include: David Horowitz, Ben Shapiro, Nonie Darwish, Daniel Pipes and Richard Cravatts.

“The driving force behind the rise in anti-Semitism on campus is Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), an organization supported by university funds, which is dedicated to the destruction of the Jewish state,” said Jew Hatred on Campus founder, David Horowitz. “Students for Justice in Palestine is a mouthpiece for the genocidal lies of Hamas and other terrorist groups, which claim – falsely - that Israel is a colonial occupier of Arab lands and an apartheid state. SJP sponsors campus events whose principal purpose is to delegitimize the Jewish state and to harass Jewish students and campus supporters of Israel. SJP invites speakers who incite war against Israel and the United States and promote the ethnic cleansing of Jews from the Middle East.”

As part of the larger “Jew Hatred on Campus” Initiative, The David Horowitz Freedom Center hopes that widespread teach-ins will force university administrations to enforce their own diversity codes of behavior to provide protection for Jewish students consistent with protections provided to other ethnic and religious groups on their campuses.

“Students for Justice in Palestine is a hate group as defined by the U.S. State Department,” said Horowitz. “It denies the Jewish people, and only the Jewish people, their right to self-determination; they demand that Israel be judged by standards applied to no other nation in the world; they deploy classic anti-Semitic imagery such as blood libels; they demonize Israel – the most tolerant nation in the Middle East – as an ‘apartheid state’ and they support terrorist regimes that call for the ethnic cleansing of the Jews. SJP has the right to exist, but as a group, it should not receive campus funding.”

Launched in 2015 by the David Horowitz Freedom Center, the Jew Hatred on Campus campaign aims to educate the public on the anti-Semitic acts occurring throughout the nation's higher learning institutions and calls on administrators to remove campus privileges and university support from hate groups.
