JICNY holds International Music Award themed Gala at The Highline Ballroom
Jewish International Connection of New York (JICNY) invites you to join the festivities at its annual Gala as they present 4 prestigious awards to Berel Fischler, Feliks Frenkel, Lev Grzhonko and Sivan Hadari on Monday, October 21, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at The Highline Ballroom located at 431 W 16th St., New York, NY 10011.
This unique, annual Gala event offers the international and Jewish community of New York a chance to enjoy an innovative and engaging social event with international friends while providing support to an outstanding Jewish organization. This years’ theme; "An International Music Festival", will allow Gala attendees and JICNY supporters a chance to enjoy an exceptional fusion of an outdoor Music Festival with all the excitement of a beautiful, indoor Gala. Highlights of the evening will include an outstanding live performance and tribute to the music of Billy Joel performed by the band Songs in the Attic. Hosting the event will be International singer and Israeli Superstar, Hananel Edri, who recently returned to New York after hosting Israeli President Shimon Peres’s Birthday festivities followed by his own world music tour. Other highlights include; Mexican food paired with live music from an authentic Mariachi band, Greek food accompanied by Greek theater and music, and the first ever kosher Korean barbecue
The Gala will encompass elements, decor and themes of everything an outdoor Music Festival would have to offer. “I am a firm believer that fundraisers should be fun” says JICNY founder Jodi Samuels, “And the JICNY Gala merges Jewish Philanthropy with that same fun, creative, entertaining atmosphere where you can try new foods, listen to excellent music and enjoy the wonderful vibes from a great, international crowd.”
