The Orthodox Union announced this week that it will be presenting a community forum on “Eating Disorders Among Our Young People,” Sunday, January 29.  The event, in cooperation with Lander College for Men, in Queens; Lander College for Women/The Anna Ruth and Mark Hasten School, in Manhattan; and Congregation Aish Kodesh in Woodmere, will take place at the synagogue, 894 Woodmere Place.  The free program will begin at 8:00 PM  and is open to both men and women.

Annual Meeting of Mohalim Held in BrooklynLast Tuesday night, the last night of Chanukah, in what has become a yearly Chanukah event, there was a large gathering of close to fifty mohalim that are certified by the American Board of Ritual Circumcision.  The event was graciously hosted by Rabbi & Mrs. A.
